Fgas certification and Brexit

Following our query to the EPA regarding F gas certification and Brexit we can confirm the following. During the transition period all UK F Gas certificates will remain valid.

“The Commission have confirmed to DCCAE  that , if ratified, the Withdrawal Agreement ensures that the application of the F-gas Regulation remains unchanged until the end of the transition period.

Thus, during the transition period which runs from 01/02/02020 until 31/12/2020, UK certificates under the F-Gas Regulations will continue to be recognised in the EU.

The F-Gas Regulations will continue to apply as now in the EU during and after the transition period.”
